Is a mixture of the letters o and x, as in hugs and kisses, but taken this idea and contradicting it, having the o represent revolution and the x represent unification, in the piece the O’s are in a random irrational order, and the X’s are in a uniformed pattern, however simultaneously I wanted to study the magnetism of life in which opposites attract, this is the essence of this piece.

An earthquake demolished the country of Haiti, and awakend the world to its necessity. This piece is a call from the 3rd world not just Haiti to awaken the world (especially this country) of the problems of starvation, hunger, poverty, malnutrition, diseases, etc. that have been going on every single day before the earthquake gave the ignorant giant sympathy to this country. We want to awaken the world with this piece instead of making a 15 min of fame situation, this is a 24/7 365 situation all over the world not just Haiti. In the piece Haiti is in blood red, representing it as a hot topic and the focal point of the majority of the world, in transparency are countries all over the world that are suffering numerous of social challenges.

When visiting Buenos Aires, Argentina I worked on a architectural project regarding the development of La Boca, a small neighborhood in Buenos Aires. The project consisted of a school for the performing arts and a purified water center for the horrible conditions of Rio Riachuelo, the third most contaminated river in the world. The presentation was executed all in graffiti due to the reality of the environment of the Boquense culture. The design is to house those in financial need and giving them an opportunity to express themselves through art, and the building is a reflecting mirror of that attitude.

On September 4th, 2008 Hurricane Ike reached the shores of the Caribbean and eventually to the
South-Eastern coast of the United States. Killing over a 150 civilians, causing $32 billion dollars in damages and up to 80,000 destroyed homes. This project, developed a week after the catastrophic event, concentrates on a prototype design home for an environmentalist to explore and experiment simultaneously as he/she lives in their home.
The home aqcuires recycled aluminum, photovoltaic panels, and an underground generating capacitor
/recycling water pond in order to store all forms of energy thermal, hydro, solar, and wind. We as
individuals know that the future relies on sustainable design, we want to contribute to this evolution.
