Cash.Rules.Everything.Around.Us
Freemasons began in 1776 and I personally believe than any good intentional idea can become corrupted through money and power. The Freemasons initiative now is to control the world by simplifying our education and by paralyzing our human right to have critical thought and to question, instead the masses are entertained with whatever superficial bullshit people may adore for those 15 minutes, then its on the next thing to not keep us bored with life. Until there is none left to entertain us, due to our own humankind’s apathy. The painting is a dollar bill that unveils the truth about the symbolism of their intentions. The Latin terminology is translated to English in order to comprehend, and myself to express my thoughts on this subject I doodle secret notations.

My art is about illustrating emotional depictions of life in order for society to have an optimistic epiphany, I cross boundaries, cultures, religions, I am a human first.

I was approached by Houston Palestine Film Festival to do a piece regarding the continuous conflict between Palestine-Israel. Due to the timing I decided to integrate an issue with my personal background being the immigration conflict between Mexico-U.S. I along with numerous colleagues built two walls from recycled material to represent borders. On one wall I have the Statue of Liberty giving the middle finger to a Zapatista infant. On the other wall is an image of Hitler with a Jewish badge overseeing the destruction of Gaza. This exemplifies the meaning of the oppressed becoming the oppressor a never-ending cycle.

December last year, a very good friend of mine passed away, her name is Mariah. This piece is dedicated to her, her loved ones, and her family.
The painting represents the beauty and tenacious of her spirit, with all of her health conditions she never wanted anyone to worry, she is in my heart and will remain.

The medical research tower is about the global necessities regarding social, environmental, and architectural issues.
Mumbai is the ideal city for this project; the proposal consists of building into the ocean to not consume the scarce availability of land in Mumbai as well as globally. Another issue is the global population rising every day and the continuous diseases spreading throughout the third world countries. Going into this project our main concentration was designing a medical tower for the highly concentrated HIV issue in the world. After our research was done we saw that HIV was not the only predominant issue being faced, the issues of water pollution, over population, numerous health diseases, global warming, and poverty became more apparent as our scrutinizing deepened. As we studied different parts of the world that would fit the needs of our ideal skyscraper for the future we noticed that Mumbai was the adequate site to be an example for the world. Currently India is the third country with the highest HIV-inhabitants in the world. Dharavi, the largest slum in Asia, located in Mumbai has over a million people and is highly affected by over-population, water contaminated-related diseases, lack of sanitation, etc. Also another strong element to Mumbai is The Bandra Worli Sea-Link built in this past summer of (09). The proposal is anchored within the structure of the bridge into the Arabian Sea. Inside the entire building there is a communal plaza, hospital (main tower), technology (collection/distribution), and a U.N. embassy chambers (to oversee the entire facility and to promote new programs for the people). The main tower is dedicated to the medical field, a research tower to experiment on the already numerous sickened population. The 12 million living in these conditions will be offered this opportunity voluntarily. The skin of the tower has a triple layer of 1.structure/infrastructure to collect water, 2. Solar photovoltaic panels, and 3. Micro wind turbines. The entire proposal will attend to 500,000 people, although this is not enough, it is a beginning. Our idea continues to different parts of the world including Kibera, Kenya, Lagos, Nigeria, Kwa-zulu, South Africa.

For two years in a row I have had the privilege to win the cover for the University of Houston Handbook and represent the school with my art.
“Diversity_University 08-09”
The theme I was searching to captivate was how diverse the University of Houston is. I decided to combine different languages, flags representing different nationalities, and the symbol of the cougar being integrated within it.
“The Spirit Within 09-10”
I wanted to combine all elements of the theme into one strong composition. The three cougars show the evolution of the cougar in spirit. The colors used are the school colors, and the photos in the background represent the spirit, diversity, and beauty of the University of Houston students and representatives.

the spirit of the University of Houston through the school colors and the social interaction of the people within the school. Its past, present, and future are incorporated with distinct images from its beginning in1927 to its bright future.

I was invited to speak in the second edition of the Pecha Kucha Houston 20 slide 20-second speech, which demonstrates what each artist is about. Giving this speech is a fulfillment because I feel that some of my work and goals can be misinterpreted, so I focused on what and where I came from to explain the upbringing of my ideology within my work. Thank you for this opportunity, and for all the people there who gave a listen.
